Gul Gunaydin is a Professor of Psychology at Sabanci University. She received her PhD degree from Cornell University in 2013. Her program of research focuses on interpersonal relationships and addresses questions ranging from relationship formation to maintenance to the well-being consequences of relationships. Her research has been published in leading scientific journals, including Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, and Social Psychological and Personality Science. Gul received multiple early career awards from prestigious institutions including the Science Academy of Turkey.
