Laboratories
All facilities listed below are reserved for the research activities by the faculty members and their research team (consisting of undergraduate and graduate students).
COGNITION AND BEHAVIOR LAB (MIND LAB)
The laboratory is used for behavioral studies: interviews, one-to-one interactive studies, group data collection. Other activities such as data maintenance and analyses are also carried out with state-of-the art technical equipment, and statistical software.
SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY LAB
COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE LAB
EYE-TRACKING LAB
The research in this lab uses eye movements to investigate the cognitive processes such as perception, imagery, attention, memory, and language. The lab has a TOBII TX300 tracker equipment. The studies involve both adult and children participants.
GROUP TESTING LAB
The laboratory is used for behavioral studies: mainly for group data collection.
Other activities such as data maintenance and analyses are also carried out with state-of-the art technical equipment, and statistical software.
ROBOT LAB
This lab is used for research on learning second language from a child-friendly Robot Tutor.
SOCIAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY LAB
The laboratory is used for observational social and developmental research. It has video recording equipment.
EEG NEUROSCIENCE LAB
This lab is used for neuroscience research examining biological basis of behavior by recoding electrical activity from the brain while participants perform a wide-variety of tasks. It has Brain products actiCHamp 64 channels EEG Equipment.
MULTIPURPOSE PSYCHOLOGY SPACE
The space is devoted for group testing, students’ group projects, observational studies, interactive studies, social events and meetings.
EXPERIMENTAL TESTING CUBICLES
Small rooms with PCs used for individual testing of participants.
