SPS 201 Fundamentals of Scientific Inquiry and Statistical Reasoning for Social Sciences
This course provides the undergraduate students with an elementary but rigorous grip on the fundamentals of scientific inquiry and statistical reasoning. The course aims to introduce students to understanding the basis of inductive reasoning and assessments involving uncertainty as well as statistical concepts and techniques. The students will be exposed to probability, chance, causation, correlation, statistical hypothesis and testing. The course also includes practical application of these techniques.
