PSY 362 Clinical Applications of Psychology
This course is an overview of clinical applications of psychology. Topics to be covered are basic features of clinical assessment, basic features of clinical interventions, psychological testing, overview of psychotherapy models (psychodynamic, humanistic, behavioral, cognitive, group, family etc.) and research on clinical interventions. Clinical case examples as well as relevant movies and literary works will be used in order to demonstrate the workings of clinical psychology in practice.
